For many years, Beresford Landscape Design has provided landscape maintenance and fine gardening services for this Larchmont residence. In addition to typical site upkeep, work done has included a number of individual landscape designs and planting enhancements, including the design and installation of a custom built-in grill and countertop. The home is built in the Tudor architectural style that was historically characteristic of lower Westchester, and is set on a quiet, picturesque street. The planting design intends to reflect the traditional nature of the architecture, while blending in elements of cottage garden aesthetics. A stately Yew hedge frames the front entry garden, and borders of Boxwoods frame assortments of flowering shrubs and perennials. These evergreen garden borders allow for colorful blooms and cutting gardens within a more formalized framework. The rear yard pool and dining areas present additional planting opportunities. Beresford Landscape Design continues to provide landscape maintenance and gardening services at the property.
