The rear yard landscape design for this property in Briarcliff Manor, NY centers around a pool and bluestone pool terrace. Framing the pool is a fully furnished pool house in white to match the home, and a border of evergreen and flowering plantings. The design offers several amenities for both socializing and relaxation. A rear bluestone terrace ties the residence into the landscape and is defined by a custom pergola, also in matching white. The full color range of the bluestone paving and the natural cleft finish provide a pleasant contrast to the all-white finish of the building’s exterior. The rear terrace includes spaces for dining and lounge, and includes a custom outdoor kitchen with a built-in countertop, grill, and refrigerator. Natural stone retaining walls with bluestone caps flank stone steps that lead up from the lower terrace to the pool terrace.

 

Beresford Landscape Design completed the landscape planting design and installed all masonry and plantings for the project. BLD also completed general site work and conducted coordination with the pool contractors. BLD continues to provide landscape maintenance and gardening services at the property.
